CHERTSEY TOWN 1 BERKHAMSTED 2

SOUTHERN League visitors Berkhamsted did just enough to progress at the expense of Isthmian hosts Chertsey Town.
The visitors had shaded a first half of few goalmouth incidents before making the breakthrough just before half-time.
Berkhamsted took the lead in the 38th minute when Alie Bangura arrived from deep on the right to plant the ball home from a left-wing cross. Chertsey hit back in the 55th minute with a Scott Day header off Andy Crossley’s free kick.
