WILL Saxon bagged a brace to earn Leek Town a hard-fought victory in a pulsating match at Bridge Road with the winner coming with just seconds left on the clock.
Danny Gould had put Histon ahead after seven minutes with a 25-yard drive and the home side looked to be in control. But, if the first half belonged to Histon, the second was certainly Leek’s. The visitors dominated possession for long periods but without creating a great deal, until Saxon took advantage of a wayward defensive header to level the score.
