HANWELL have never won a gane on penalties and their hoodoo continued in an extraordinay, 11-man-apiece shoot-out.
Earlier, a rare mistake by home keeper Hugo Sobte in the 65th minute saw Alex Clark’s free kick converted by George Sykes.
But, just four minutes later, striker Ogo Obi levelled after seizing upon an under-hit Steve Sheehan header. Sobte went on to make three tremendous saves when the tie went to a penalty shootout.
But, unlike the visitors, not all of Hanwell’s efforts were on target and they paid the price as their woeful record in shoot-outs came...
