ANTHONY EDGAR hit the winner as Herne Bay grabbed an away win at VCD Athletic.
Both sides had early chances in a goalless first half with the Vickers denied a penalty and Herne Bay having a goal ruled out for offside. The second half started at a slower pace and the Vickers had only themselves to blame when the defence allowed a through ball to Mobolaji Dawodu who calmly slotted past an helpless Nick Blue to break the deadlock.
