HEYBRIDGE’S first visit to Biggleswade ended in defeat.
The first 45 minutes was dominated by the home side, with Jonny Giles and Joe Neal leading the line.
Most of the chances fell to Jamie Peters, whose shots were stinging the visiting keeper’s fingers. The second period continued where the first left off, with Wader domination, but not able to find the target.
But after 55 minutes, Trey Charles dazzled down the right flank and his well-timed cross found Connor Furlong, who hit the back of the net.
