CONOR Tinnion’s early first-half goal proved enough to see a depleted Workington AFC earn the victory a gainst Glossop North End that sees them in the hat for the next round.
With several first-choice players out through illness and injury, away boss Danny Grainger was pleased with his team’s efforts.
“I’m delighted with the result, it’s a cup competition, so first and foremost it’s important to get the win,” he said.
