PETERBOROUGH Sports advanced into the first round after a convincing win over fellow Step 3 side Gainsborough Trinity.
Josh Moreman opened the scoring for Sports after just three minutes, turning home a Dion Sembie-Ferris cross. Paul Malone doubled the Sports lead with the home side dominating.
Trinity pulled a goal back through captain Simon Ainge after a mix-up in the Sports defence. Gainsborough found themselves level through AJ Greaves.
