SHAQ LEADS ATTACK TO BURY UNITED

A FIRST-HALF double from Shaquille McDonald ensured Tamworth made progress at the expense of Banbury.
The Lambs started well with McDonald striking a sweet effort narrowly wide, but the visitors grew into it and Giorgio Rasulo, Henry Landers and Jaanai Gordon all went close.
Tamworth took control before half-time, though, as McDonald bagged a quickfire double to give the home side a commanding advantage. Gordon struck a post as the visitors looked for a response early in the second half while Pablo Haysham missed a glorious chance on the hour.
