Newcastle Town win 4-3 on penalties

■ FA TROPHY action returned to Hillgrounds, where Kempston welcomed Newcastle Town.
The visitors had the better of the chances but nothing too troubling for Carl Knox.
It was the hosts who opened the scoring, Charlie Hayford’s pinpoint cross finding Marley Hamilton in the box to open his account for the Walnuts.
Into the second half and Newcastle equalised, Jospeh Berks getting onto the end of a looping cross. The turnaround was complete when Jack van der Laan found the far corner.
