AFC Sudbury win 3-2 on pens

■ AFC SUDBURY turned in a resolute performance, playing nearly half an hour with ten men, to finally overcome Cray Valley on penalties.
Cray Valley dominated the opening period but failed to pierce a solid defence. Alfie Stronge in the Sudbury goal produced a superb save after 41 minutes to tip away a Rory Hill header from eight yards.
Sudbury used all three subs just after the hour and one of them, Romario Dunne, was injured within ten minutes and could not continue, leaving his side to play on with ten men.
