■ IT took penalties to decide a cracker of a tie.
Paul Turner, making his first start for 1874, forced Marine keeper Bailey Passant into a brilliant save early on and Ash Woods’ effort just before half-time whistled over the bar.
The Northwich side went ahead after the break when Jake Parker opened the scoring, driving in to the Marine area and drilling a shot in to the bottom left corner.
