■ BEDFORD romped into the third qualifying round with a thumping win over Cambridge City at the Eyrie.
Already 2-0 up thanks to a Hugh Alban-Jones precision header from a corner after ten minutes and a measured shot from Lewis Miccio after 32 minutes, Cambridge then hit the self-destruct button.
Yaw Ofosu was sent off for a two-footed tackle and barely 60 seconds later former Eagle Tom Hitchcock saw red for foul and abusive language.
