TWO second-half goals from striker Bradley Well saw Frickley Athletic past Prescot Cables FC at the IP Truckparts Stadium.
Cables were the dominant side throughout but we’re unable to take a number of first-half chances.
Lewis Buckley was one of the guilty parties, missing two excellent opportunities to give the home side the lead.
The second half saw Cables seemingly take the lead through Lloyd Dean.
However, his strike after 61 minutes was ruled out by the assistant referee for offside.
