THATCHAM held their nerve to edge past Sholing in a penalty shoot-out.
Town opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, as Lamin Ceesay converted Tinashe Gwavava’s cross.
Carl Jenner shot wide, while Gwavava was denied by a combination of Ryan Gosney and the near post.
Sholing improved after the break, with Chris Rackley saving from Dan Mason and Stuart Green.
The visitors levelled after 86 minutes when Claudio Herbert’s free-kick bounced down off the bar and was adjudged to have crossed the line. Sholing penalty...
