AFTER an uninspiring first half, Canvey Island turned on the style after the interval to make light work of Burgess Hill.
The hosts eventually took the lead in the 51st minute when Harrison Chatting flicked a ball through the Hillians defence for Evans Kouassi. He chipped the ball over the keeper before slamming it home from close range.
It was 2-0 less than sixty seconds later when Matthew Price chested the ball down into run of Chatting. He burst through the defence and finished with a low shot to add to his earlier assist.
