A GALLANT display by Corby Town saw them bow out of the FA Trophy to a single goal, but after both teams had hit the woodwork during the match.
The visitors had a chance straight from the kick-off, but Jack Stevens’ effort was well saved by Matthew Hall in Corby’s goal.
Jordan O’Brien’s first-time effort hit the bar before in the visitors’ next attack Chris Wreh wasted no time hitting a first-time volley into the top corner of Hall’s net.
On the hour mark, a crisp volley by Wreh beat Hall, but rebounded to safety off his crossbar...
