FROME held on to a commanding first-half lead to overcome Poole Town at Badgers Hill.
The visitors took an early lead when Will Fletcher headed home at the back post unmarked, but the Robins had turned the game on its head by half-time.
Kane Simpson equalised when he tapped in a Jack Witcombe cross in the 22nd minute, before Rex Mannings found the bottom corner following a mazy solo dribble just four minutes later.
Jon Davies then extended the home side’s lead with a dinked finish just moments before the interval.
