SALISBURY advanced thanks to a narrow success over Gosport Borough at Privett Park.
Things quickly sparked into action as the home side took the lead after just three minutes when Dan Wooden was able to poke home from close range.
The lead didn’t last long as Salisbury equalised through a Thomas Blair volley, before taking the through Sam Ashton. The second half saw three red cards as a mass altercation broke out. Ryan Woodford was dismissed for Gosport with Shaun Gale being sent to the stands and Darren Mullings saw red for the visitors.
