LEISTON enjoyed a comfortable win at Top Field.
They took the lead close to the half hour when a precise cross from Joe Marsden brought a simple, effective finish from Ben Hunter.
Hitchin’s response was eager, but ill-directed, with few attempts on goal, the best being from Luke Brown whose effort only found the side-netting.
The visitors went further ahead after 69 minutes with another well-constructed goal when Siju Odelusi’s cross was converted by Brendan Ocran.
