IN a battle of two Isthmian Premier sides Carshalton saw off their hosts with a thrilling victory.
Goals inside the first ten minutes by Danny Bassett and Lewis White suggested that a rout could be on the cards, but a fine Rob O’Toole header halved the deficit, before Carshalton snatched a third in first-half stoppage time through Paris Hamilton-Downes.
The Robins had a fourth chalked off for offside, before sub Eddie Dsane reduced the arrears late on to set up a grandstand finish.
