LOWESTOFT have only themselves to blame for their exit in a game they dominated for the first 40 minutes and should have had far more than a Louis McIntosh goal to show for their efforts.
Yaxley turned things round in the second half, equalising just 38 seconds after the restart with a quick break that exposed the Trawlerboys defence to allow Liam Hook to shoot home. Seven minutes later they repeated the process when Matthew Sparrow was left unmarked to score.
Lowestoft were given a lifeline in the 83rd minute when they were awarded a penalty for an off the ball incident...
