ISTHMIAN PREMIER leaders Bishop’s Stortford saw off division rivals Herne Bay to secure their passage through in the FA Trophy.
An even first half with the visitors making a couple of chances but it was the Bay who made the early breakthrough. From a throw in Jack Parter went back to Dan Johnson.
His ball over the top of defender found Bode Anidugbe free on the left. A quick side pass to Rory Smith, on the edge of the area, to drill alow volley in at the near post.
