DUNSTON swept into the next round with a convencing win over Ashington.
The home side broke the deadlock with a thunderous strike from Jordan Lamb after 24 minutes. A ball over the top from JJ Chrisp found Lamb, and he lashed it past Karl Dryden.
Ashington’s best chance came soon after, as Jordan Summerly’s powerful effort was met by an excellent Dan Staples save.
