STOCKTON Town overcame Pontefract Collieries despite playing the majority with 10 men.
The Anchors were a man down after Michael Fowler walked for an altercation with Jack Steers.
However, Stockton took the lead shortly before half-time when they were awarded a penalty for a foul on Elliott Beddow. Kev Hayes stepped up to convert the spot kick.
After battling in the second half, Stockton scored a second goal on the break when Mikey Roberts found fellow substitute Michael Sweet and he tucked home.
