FIRST-HALF goals from Niall Davie and Khyle Sargent put Carlton Town through to the next round.
Davie converted from the penalty spot in the fourth minute after Scholars goalkeeper Bradley Clarkson had brought down Alex Hardwick.
Chasetown then took control of the game and after Daniel O’Callaghan hit a post, Jack Langston fired just over the bar.
Sargent put the home side two goals ahead with a superb header.
