IN a battle of two South-League Division One nern
South sides, second-place Mousehole saw off bottom side Tavistock to end a remarkable week in which the club hosted three FA competitions ties, following the FA Cup and FA Youth Cup.
Tavistock belied their lowly position by taking the game to a surprisingly passive Mousehole in the first half. But the West Devon visitors failed to turn their superiority into goals and fell behind a minute before the interval as Hayden Turner converted a penalty after a foul on Josh Bissett.
