CHIPPENHAM Town advanced to the next round by the skin of their teeth as eight minutes of stoppage time was extended by two minutes due to two Basingstoke injuries and a substitution which saw the Bluebirds equalise in the 100th minute and win on penalties.
The first half belonged to the Step 3 Hampshire side who deservedly took an early lead when Paul Hodges’ 11th-minute shot went in off Nathan Smart.
