CHORLEY shaded an undistinguished Trophy tie against Scarborough Athletic as they recorded a third Victory Park clean sheet in eight days. Both managers fielded much-changed sides and it took some time for play to settle into a cohesive pattern.
There was little of note in a quiet first half, though Matt Urwin had to pull off a good nearpost save from Boro’s Michael Coulson.
