AFTER defeats in the FA Cup and the league cup, Walthamstow completed a hat-trick of cup exits in one week with this defeat in the FA Trophy.
The home side started proceedings brightly, but it was Bedford who took the lead after 20 minutes when Isaac Galliford’s shot looped over Lewis Greene and into the Walthamstow net. Stow equalised directly from a Te Wihongi free-kick ten minutes later, with the former New Zealand international’s strike sending the two sides into half-time level.
