GRAYS ATHLETIC, the only previous FA Trophy winners playing in the preliminary round, secured their passage into the next round with a comfortable win away at competition debutants, Brantham Athletic.
The early exchanges were quite nervy but it was the winners in 2005 and 2006 who settled before their hosts and started to dominate possession.
