■ BRIGHTLINGSEA Re- gent were given a serious fright before they fi nally overcame Barton Rovers.
After both teams had early chances, Brightlingsea made the breakthrough in the 20th minute, a special strike from Idreess Namisi beating Ben Heath.
The Barton goalkeeper made another good save soon after, but he was picking the ball out of his net just before the half-hour, Shane Temple getting Regent’s second. Ninety seconds into the second half, Rovers attacked and Josiah RamAnd so the tie went to penalties – and despite both teams missing their fi rst two...
