■ BEDWORTH needed penalties to get the job done in a match that didn’t spark into life during normal time.
A flat game ensued at the Oval with few chances to speak of. However, both keepers did need to make strong saves from well-hit efforts from outside the area midway through the first half.
Hosts Bedworth will feel aggrieved not to have won the game in normal time with two dangerous free-kicks going agonisingly past Aaron Flahaven’s post and a number of balls flashing past the front of goal.
