CONSETT made it to the
■ second qualifying round for the first time in three years with a comfortable win over Hallam.
The visitors had a great chance after just four minutes when Brodie Litchfield turned his man and fired wide from six yards.
They were made to pay after 17 minutes when Donny Holdsworth, who’d already crashed a shot against a post, set up Isaac Walker to find a top corner.
