■ ASHFORD United ran out easy winners at Herne Bay to cruise into the next round of the competition.
It was a competitive and even first half, with both teams having a few half chances.
The best of those fell to the visitors’ midfielder Harrison Hume, whose volley from just outside the box smashed against a post at the end of the half.
Two goals in a four-minute spell at the start of the second half from former Folkestone Invicta ace Louis Collins and summer signing Jefferson Aibangbee put the visitors in total control.
