■ SAM Ford hit a superb hat-trick to send Felixstowe & Walton through in the FA Trophy at the expense of Hertford.
Ford opened the scoring early on following a corner, but Lawrence Ajong soon equalised for the hosts after intercepting a back pass and slotting home.
However, Ford got his and Felixstowe’s second with a diving header and they went into the break ahead.
Shortly after the re-start Ford then netted again with his head to double the away side’s lead.
