BAYLEIGH PASSANT saved two penalties in a shoot-out to help Runcorn Linnets squeeze past Garforth.
The home team’s goalkeeper used his boot to stop Jay Davis’ attempt before diving low to his right to thwart Nash Connolly, while his teammates converted all of their efforts.
There was little between the teams in normal time, and Scott Bakkor’s neat finish after Naim Arsan’s pass put Brad Cooke’s Runcorn ahead at the interval.
