■ STALYBRIDGE Celtic knocked out Greater Manchester neighbours Trafford after a goal in each half.
Stalybridge’s early dominance was rewarded when Trafford keeper Sam Booth fouled Jack Irlam inside the penalty area, and the latter stepped up to convert well after 19 minutes.
Celtic could have increased their advantage on numerous occasions, with Ellis Horan and Benni Smales-Braithwaite causing the Trafford defence all sorts of problems.
