■ WELWYN Garden City left Essex with a solid win under their belt on Saturday, as they put two past Takely to progress in the tournament.
It was a real tense affair at the Full Vision Stadium, with the two tie-settling goals arriving right at the very death. Takeley suffered a dismissal late in the first half, with Joe Pullen being handed a harsh second yellow card, yet did well to hold out against their dangerous visitors until late on.
