■ ASHFORD Town moved into the third qualifying round with a narrow victory over hosts Deal Town.
The Nuts and Bolts dominated the first half and deservedly went into the break with a two-goal lead, Jefferson Aibangbee and Gary Lockyear scoring.
Deal made a great start to the second half, scoring within three minutes of the resumption, Ben Chapman marking his 300th game for the club with his 85th goal.
That good work was quickly undone when a third Ashford goal arrived in the 49th minute, courtesy of a different forward, Louis Collins.
