The visitors went close after just four minutes when Adam Porter headed Billy Reeves’ right-wing cross off the underside of the crossbar.
For Halesowen, captain Josh Smile’s low drive was beaten away by goalkeeper Dino Visser and a curling effort from Fin Holmes struck the Leek crossbar.
