A DOUBLE by Benas Vaivada was enough to help advance Brentwood into the second round proper over Welling.
The Blues began strongly and came marginally close into taking an early lead as Charlee Hughes had dispossessed the Wings’ backline and chipped Kai Mckenzie-Lyle from 35 yards out, but his effort struck the far post.
