KELLY’S EYE FOR GOAL SEES CORBY THROUGH

RHYS Kelly struck 11 minutes from time to earn Corby Town their place in the hat for tomorrow’s second round draw at the expnse of Southern Premier Central leaders Spalding United.
Kelly dispatched the only goal from Harrison Jones’ free-kick to send the NPL Midlands Steel-men through at the expense of their Step 3 hosts.
Spalding put Corby under pressure in the first half, pinning Jimmy Dean’s side deep into their half. There was even a Spalding goal disallowed following a push in the back of a flailing defender.
