■HIGHGATE United progressed into the next round of the FA Vase thanks to two second half goals within five minutes. Marco Adaggio almost scored early on running through on goal but dragged his effort wide while under pressure from goalkeeper Matthew Gwynne.
Winger Josh Sarmento went closer for City after 15 minutes breaking free after a defensive mistake and attempting to chip the goalkeeper but the effort was cleared away.
