JEPSON’S EXIT GIVES HINCKLEY THE HUMP

COVENTRY United made history by reaching the last 32 of the FA Vase for the first time thanks to a consummate first-half performance.
The hosts showed no mercy towards lowerranked Hinckley whose manager James Jepson controversially quit on the eve of the East Midlands derby tie, claiming board members had attempted to engineer a change at the helm.
The floodgates opened 15 minutes in when Jamal Clarke pounced on a loose ball to fire into the bottom corner from a Luke Downes free-kick.
