A GOAL from Oliver Brokenshire late in the first half proved enough to take Helston through to the next round at the end of this tense FA Vase clash.
The winning goal arrived just as the Blues began to settle in to their stride, Scott Beattie helping the ball on for Brokenshire who produced a smart finish on the turn to put the visitors side firmly in the driving seat.
Alfie Flack had gone close for the Cornishmen before they took the lead while Craig Wilson had the best effort of the tie for the Western League hosts.
