OWNER TAKES OVER

SOUTHEND Manor owner Jerry Omango has named himself as the Essex Senior League club’s manager, replacing Adam Peek who quit after four years in charge.
Peek resigned after a meeting with Omango following the Southchurch Park outfit’s poor start to the season in which they recorded only one victory.
But Omango, who took over from former chairman Steve Robinson during the summer, will allow Peek’s coaching staff of Garry Pond and Craig Waters to run the team’s affairs from now on.
