NORTH SHIELDS comfortably won the battle between two previous finalists of the competition.
The 2015 FA Vase winners Shields blew fellow Northern League side Tow Law away in the first half. By half-time the Robins were three goals to the good, two of them from former Lawyer Dan Wilson.
Second Division Tow Law calamitously conceded early on and never recovered. An own goal from Rob Smith following a ball into the box put the Lawyers on the back foot.
