ABBEY HEY took the spoils in a fiery Manchester derby thanks to goals from Rhys Clooney, Jake Dunford and Deane Smalley.
The visitors - the better side in a dour first half - took the lead thanks to the quick thinking of Smalley and the quick feet of Clooney.
Smalley found his strike partner in space with a quick throw before Clooney took the ball down with one foot and hooked it home with the other. Avro’s task was made more difficult before the half was over, Jack Morrow seeing red for a poor challenge on Cameron Darkwah.
