PADIAM ensured Heaton Stannington were unable to reach the first first round of the FA Vase for the first time in four decades.
The Stan were almost ahead after just 15 seconds when Storks star Danny Morton headed against his own post.
Michael Leech then headed just over and Josh Wilson went wide from 20-yards as the hosts piled on the early pressure.
Kevin Carr’s effort cleared the bar and another Wilson cross saw Lewis Burns head against the bar.
Will Tomlinson’s free kick cleared the home bar and then Dom Craig was brought down in the box.
