PAGHAM PAY THE PENALTY

HADLEY did just enough to beat Pagham in an entertaining tie at sunny Brickfield Lane.
In the 40th minute Pagham were awarded a penalty for handball, but Jared Rance’s spot-kick was saved by Luke Ward, and the goalkeeper did even better to keep out the rebound.
Six minutes after halftime, Joe Bennett gave Pagham the lead, finishing off at the far post following a deep left-wing cross.
